Tom Cruise was in the American Express Presents BST Hyde Park crowd to see the Rolling Stones while some Hollywood stars were there.

The Top Gun actor was rocking out with friends in AEG’s VIP suite at the legendary band’s British Summer Time festival show in London on Sunday night. Tom was smiling and swaying to the music, and he kept things casual by wearing a navy coat over a white shirt with the top two buttons undone and dark jeans.

The Stones played in London for the first time since Charlie Watts died in August 2021. The concert was dedicated to his memory.

It feels great to be here. “This is our 1st time in London without him, which is sad. So, we want to give this show to Charlie.” The lead singer told the crowd, “In 1962, we met a drummer from Wembley named Charlie Watts.”

The group, which also included Ronnie Wood, Keith Richards, and drummer Steve Jordan and was led by Sir Mick Jagger, started their set with Street Fighting Man and 19th Nervous Breakdown and then played songs from their whole career.

In addition to songs like “Honky Tonk Women” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash,” they ended by playing “Sympathy for the Devil” & “(I Can’t Get No) Satisfaction” again.

Before they played “Paint It Black,” Sir Mick reminded the crowd that it had been almost 60 years since their first show at the Marquee. “We want to thank you very much for coming back to see us,” he said.

The lead singer recently got over Covid. He had to cancel a few shows because of it, but he has since said he’s feeling “much better.”
